Tennessee Technological University, more popularly referred to as Tennessee Tech, is an accredited public university located in Cookeville, which is the county seat of Putnam County, situated in the US state of Tennessee, with a population estimated at a number of more than 28 000 inhabitants, during the 2007 census, fact which makes it the largest micropolitan area among the 20 in the state.
